The Lumineers/Porcelain Veneers Process

Visit 1: Preview and Preparation

During your initial visit we learn your smile goals and assess your dental condition through a comprehensive dental exam. Based on the information and images we gather we can then give you a preview of what your smile will look like after treatment! Once you’re happy, we’ll proceed with preparing your teeth for the procedure. If you’re getting veneers, we remove a small portion of enamel before making an impression that our lab will use as the basis of your new tooth surfaces. We’ll then give you temporary veneers to wear until your next visit. Lumineers generally don’t require enamel removal or temporaries!

Visit 2: Final Placement

You’ll return to our office in one to two weeks to get your final veneers or Lumineers placed. These will be completely customized to your specifications by our trusted lab. During this visit we’ll make sure they fit comfortably, seamlessly complement your smile, and make your smile goals a reality. When we’ve determined that your veneers or Lumineers will look and feel as they should, we’ll bond them firmly to your teeth. These will stay in place and provide you with a completely beautiful, fully functional smile for many years to come!
